Terms of Service

Lativa is a platform to discover Latin dance events (socials, workshops, festivals) and dance school classes, buy tickets, manage enrollments + memberships. Features include mobile discovery, ticketing, subscription billing and instructor attendance.

You must be 16+ and provide accurate information. You are responsible for password security. Do not share your account. Report suspicious access to [email protected].

Lativa acts as Merchant of Record (MoR) for tickets and school subscriptions:

• Lativa collects payment via Iyzico; card data stays with Iyzico, never with us.

• Lativa issues you the e-Archive invoice.

• After the event / school period, Lativa transfers net payout to the organizer minus commission.

• Tax liability is on Lativa.

• More than 7 days before event start: full refund.

• Between 7 and 2 days: 50% refund.

• Less than 48 hours: no refund.

• Organizer cancellation: 100% refund, no request needed.

• Refunds initiated by Lativa; contact [email protected].

Organizers may narrow these terms in event-specific rules.

Dance school enrollment is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. Cancel any time; the current period is non-refundable; no further charges occur.

Iyzico retries failed charges; after 3 failed attempts the subscription is suspended.

When using the Service you may not:

• Engage in harassment, discrimination, hate speech.

• Create fake profiles or impersonate others.

• Spam, send automated messages, post commercial solicitations.

• Trade tickets, accounts or personal data.

• Share illegal content.

Violating accounts are suspended or permanently banned.

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Lativa a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute and moderate it as part of the Service.

Lativa brand, logo and software remain with Lativa.

If you register as an organizer or school owner you are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, must have valid business registration and tax status in Turkey, must respond to refund requests within 7 days, and Lativa is not responsible for your advertising, sponsorships, or event safety.

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted, Lativa is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

You may close your account anytime. Lativa may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law without prior notice.

We may update these Terms. We will display in-app notice for material changes. Continued use means acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Istanbul Çağlayan courts have jurisdiction.
